As part of its efforts to build the capacity of its staff and enhance their efficiency in implementing humanitarian projects, Abyan Youth Foundation organized a specialized training course on humanitarian work standards.
The course was conducted by Saddam Al-Koni, the foundation’s Grants and Programs Manager, and targeted employees to familiarize them with the nine commitments of humanitarian work and how to implement them across different project execution stages.
The training covered the importance of adhering to humanitarian standards to ensure aid is provided with neutrality, humanity, and accountability toward beneficiaries. It also focused on improving the quality of humanitarian services delivered to target communities.
During the session, Al-Koni emphasized the practical application of these standards in project implementation to enhance their impact and effectively meet the needs of vulnerable populations while upholding the highest professional humanitarian standards.
This course is part of a series of training activities organized by the foundation to develop its team’s capabilities and ensure the efficient and effective achievement of developmental and humanitarian goals.
